Sylvie, a new band featuring Drug Dealer’s Benjamin Schwab, Marina Allen and Sam Burton, shares a gorgeous new song, Falls On Me, taken from the self-titled debut EP, out 10/1 via Terrible Records.
My heart has been in this one since I wrote it- a really special one for me from the EP. The song is about deliverance and returning home to something I felt was momentarily lost in my life. There was a catharsis and surrendering in making this song , and I felt I’d grown and moved from one chapter of my life to another when we finished it. Turning heartache into joy is a high feeling for songwriter. Marina, with her incredibly beautiful voice, delivered the sentiment with a lotta heart and soul. She brought beauty, virtue, and hope into my life and this song. I’m so so proud we collaborated on this together.
